Pamela Bohlander Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 8, 2024.
Pamela J. Bohlander, 69, passed away on October 2, 2024, in Suffern, NY. Born on March 31, 1955, Pamela dedicated over 30 years of her life serving as a crossing guard for the Clarkstown Police Department. She cherished her role, particularly the joy of crossing children safely.

Pamela was a beacon of joy and generosity, always striving to ensure happiness for everyone around her. Her love for life was evident in her hobbies; she loved to paint, and took great pleasure in baking and making chocolate candies. Pamela especially loved spending quality time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She leaves behind a loving family: her son David Bohlander Jr., daughter Shannon Guarino and son-in-law Thomas Guarino, son Daniel Bohlander, grandchildren Adrianna and Thomas, brothers Calvin Gremli (Kathy) and Kevin Gremli (Dorothy), and brother James Gremli. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, David Bohlander, her parents, Calvin and Dorothy Gremli, her in-laws Charles and Margaret Bohlander, and her sister Debbie and her husband Peter Price.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Pamela's life and legacy.
