Pamela Irene Clark

Pamela Irene Clark, age 77, of Madison, AL, passed away at home on May 16, 2024. She was born on November 6, 1946 in Renton, Washington. During her career she worked in Titusville and Tampa FL as a nurse, Ohio and Maryland as a professor and researcher predominately in the field of tobacco control and harm reduction. Her greatest gift may have been helping others define the researchable question.

Dr. Clark will be remembered by her many friends and colleagues as a caring, accomplished educator, author and researcher. Ultimately she will be remembered by her students as they continue in their careers as researchers in Public Health and in medicine.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Ray Stricklin Ph.D. and by her sisters Sheila Clark , Valencia Clark and brother Christopher Clark. She is survived by her sisters Ferrel Mazzatto (Pete), Lois Bills (Coburn) and Norma Durbin (Dennis Brown), along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Cremation has occurred and interment will occur at a later date in Savannah Tennessee.
