ELLISON, Pamela Gavin
Pamela G. Ellison passed away on September 23, 2010 after a brief illness. Born November 9, 1956 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Vernon and Carolyn Gavin. She is survived by her brother, Vernon Gavin, Jr. (Sethyne) and numerous loving cousins, uncles and aunts. Pam graduated from Del Campo High School in 1975 and attended American River College and Florida State University. She went to work at McClellan A.F.B. in 1981 and remained there until the base's closure in 2000. After leaving McClellan, Pam pursued additional education through junior college and Heald Business School, from which she earned a degree. Pam was an avid reader, loved movies, and board games. She will be remembered for her impersonations, her encyclopedic recall of trivia, but mostly for her infectious laugh. She will be missed greatly. Pam has unselfishly donated her body to the University of California, Davis - School of Medicine.

To the Gavin Family:
I recently heard of Pam's passing and it has saddened my heart. I've known Pam since 1981 when she started at McClellan.The last time we sat and chatted was at her Mom's Home-going service in Jan. I'm so glad that we had that time to talk about things. Pam was truly a sweet person who loved her family. I will miss her hearty laughter and her infectious smile. May God rest her eternal soul.
