Pamela Gravely Obituary
She was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy J. Smith; her mother, Barbara A. Smith and her father, James W. Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Gravely; her son, Cory (Robyn) Gravely; her granddaughter, Laura and grandson, Cooper Gravely; her brother, Rodney (Amy) Smith; nephews, Jordan (Melanie) Smith, Ryan Smith, Tony (Tonya) Smith, Curtis (Alecia) Smith, Todd (Heather) Smith; nieces Lyndsey (Jasen) Ryll and Abigail Smith. She also leaves behind five great-nephews, a beloved sister-in-law, Donna Smith Black (Glen) and a life- long friend and companion, Phyllis Missildine and her two sons, Brandon and Rick, along with uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of cherished friends and loved ones. Pallbearers include: Jordan, Tony, Curtis and Todd Smith, Brandon and Rick Thompson, Brad and Chad Gill and Michael Ervin.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Pam's memory.

I just recently heard about Ms. Pam. I worked at the bingo hall with her a long time ago. I did also recently talk to her last month at Kohl's Department store. We hugged and talked for a long time. I am so happy we did. I will miss you my dear friend

Pam taught me so much during the five years we worked together at Jackpot Bingo, mostly about how to treat people, always with dignity and respect, she was a living example of the golden rule and she will be greatly missed. Our condolences to Ken and all her family - Richard.
I will always remember Pam's laughter and the twinkle in her eyes and her spirit. Whenever I would walk into the bingo hall to see Richard she would wrap me in a big hug, always welcoming me. I am grateful she was a part of our lives. As Richard said, she was a great example of the Golden Rule and we will miss her, but keep our good memories of her.

My deepest sympathy to the ken! Cory and the family. Pam and I were good friends in high school and we just found each other recently on Facebook. Pam was a very sweet person in school and from others comments she didn't change as an adult. I know she was loved and will be missed. May God bring you comfort during this time is my prayer.

Pam you will be missed. You were taken from us to soon. I wish I had more time to tell you what you and Ken mean to me and how thankful I am for what you two have done for me. I feel as though I have lost my mother and my heart hurts for the only father I will ever know in Ken. I am so thankful and grateful to of had you in my life.
