Pamela Kissee Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 22, 2025.
Pamela Carlisle Kissee, 72, of Chugiak, Alaska, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Pamela was born in 1952 in Bangor, Maine. As the daughter of a military father, she experienced life across the world before graduating from C.M. Russell High School in Great Falls, Montana. While living in Denver, Colorado, she met the love of her life, Dale Kissee. Together, they moved to Alaska in 1980, where they built a life rooted in love, adventure, and family.

Pamela had a deep love for Alaska and the life she and Dale created there. She cherished time spent with family at their cabin, reading, gardening, and shopping for her beloved grandchildren. Her warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew her.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Betty (Dean) and Robert Carlisle. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dale Kissee; her sons, Zac Kissee (Rebecca) and Justin Kissee; her grandchildren, Cora and Myles Kissee, who were the light of her life and her sister Susan Taft (Rick).

Pamela's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the deep bonds of family. She will be remembered always and missed beyond measure.
