Not sure what to say?

Pam was more intelligent than most of us she worked with at State Farm but she never made me feel beneath her when getting her input and help. Her kind, gentle manner of communicating made me feel comfortable reaching out. If only she would’ve left that company sooner. They weren’t worth it, regardless of her loyalty and love for her work. God Bless Pam.

I just found the online obituary while trying to locate and contact Pam. It saddens me to read of Pam's passing. Pam was one of my investigators at Fort Ritchie, Maryland in the late 70's. I doubt many of her friends are aware of her service, but Pam's military responsibilities were unique and only experienced by a handful of service members. For a time Pam's responsibilities included securing the site of the Alternate National Military Command Center, known as the underground Pentagon. She was called upon to support the Secret Service in protecting President Jimmy Carter and was a relentless investigator who handled a number of sensitive cases. She was one of the best female investigators and was always upbeat in times of pressure. I am sad that I did not reach out to Pam before her passing. I send my condolences to her friends and family. I know her passing represents a huge loss.

Pam was one of the best trainers I had during my 10+ years with State Farm...she was like a "walking SF encyclopedia"! I loved the sound of Pam's voice, which was always so calm and reassuring. My deepest sympathies go out to Pam's family.

Pam was such a positive person to be around, that could always be counted on, if you had a question, or needed help. She was always one to say good morning or good night as she would pass by my desk. We would often exchange van driving stories, especially during the winter season. Great person that is already missed.

Prayers to her family, during this very difficult time.

My sincere condolences for your loss. I had the great opportunity to work with Pam for a number of years. If anyone could teach you something, Pam could. Here knowledge was amazing and her willingness to share made her one of the best at what she did. Even after our jobs took us different directions, I could always count on Pam for the answers. Our former work group has a lot of great memories thanks to Pam.

It has been an absolute honor to have known Pam and to have worked with her. I learned so much from her dating back to our Southfield days. She embodied the term of a "good neighbor ". She was an invaluable source of knowledge, extremely personable and I am glad to have been able to call her a friend. She touched many lives and left us with fond memories. May you rest in peace.

Kathy and I are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most genuinely wonderful people we've ever known and worked with for many years. Pam was a joy to be around, was incredibly knowledgeable, and taught us so much without us realizing we were being educated between the laughter. Like so many others, we are all the better for having had Pam in our lives. May she rest in peace.

I was very shocked and sadden to hear about Pam passing away. She was truly one of a kind! She made learning the life of claim handling achievable! There was never a question she didn't know the answer to or at least where to find it. She was a mentor and a friend and will greatly missed! Pam, may you rest in Heaven!

I was lucky to have worked with Pam and I am thankful that I know she knew how much I appreciated her friendship & her leadership. We co-workers of Pam have expressed the gamut of emotions at hearing of her passing but to her family I say thank you, thank you for sharing her with us for the best years of her life. Pam led by example her everything she did and I hope each and every one of us has that moment that we got to share with Pam that we can reflect & thank her for sharing with us.

I knew Pam my whole career at State Farm and Pam was at the Southfield SC when I started. She was amazing, knowledgeable, and funny. I saw her most recently at Cindy Gs retirement party and got to chat with her for a while. She was looking forward to retirement when the Kalamazoo office closed. RIP Pam.

This news breaks my heart. Pam trained me when I started in claims at the old Southfield claim center in 1986, and was an absolute joy to work with during her time in the Metro area. Following my transfer to Portage in 2012, I was able to reconnect with Pam who was still the same warm, positive person I'd always known her to be. Such an amazing soul gone way too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time

I never had the pleasure of meeting Pam in person, but when I started claims here in Dallas, Tx, she was my well of knowledge and encouragement from miles away. I am so grateful for her patience, knowledge, and positivity. Even though I only knew her for a short time and in a limited capacity it was evident she was a gem of a person! I looked forward to talking with her everyday. I am heartbroken over this. RIP Pam

Pam hated to be the center of attention but most of the time was because her phenomenal personality always shined through. She had a great sense of humor, and was one of the most kind, intelligent, and genuine people I have ever met. I will always remember her as Positive Pam and think of her excitement every time Apple releases a new product. She was a great friend to many and a great mentor to even more. Rest in peace Pam and know you made an impact on everyone you met. You will be greatly missed my friend!
