Happy Birthday and Happy Women's Day, Pamela! You have truly epitomised Nari Shakti (Women Power) and truly deserved the award bestowed upon you. I am happy to have been able to meet you and sorry that I couldn't spend more time with me. You are very inspiring and I pray that there will be many like you. We miss you in this world. Thank you, Pam, we will remain indebted to you.

I first met Anil and Pam when they owned the home I lived in while in college in Hilo, Hawaii. The connection to them has lasted my entire lifetime. I am grateful and my heart and soul pray for their uplift. Forever changed; Forever humbled; Forever praying for them with love. I was so very blessed to spend a month with Pam in Massachusetts and Vermont prior to her passing. Her birthday in March was especially meaningful to her as she received well wishes from all over the world and from her precious family and friends. She was beautiful and inspiring, and I will miss her so.

I remember when Aunt Pam would visit my Nana's house from India and I would peak in her room to touch the beautiful fabrics and beaded jewelry and smell the exotic incense she brought from her home. Pam was kind, wise, impressive, and had an amazing heart. I will remember her very fondly.

Many, many qualities of our Pamela were very admirable. Her love for Mother Earth, of course, but in that the strong determination to struggle and sacrifice for what she believed in was amazing! Her passion was contagious for whatever she set her mind to work for. I guess the quality that i found most amazing was her fearlessness. To live alone in nature, to hike alone even knowing wild animals were around, to swim in the river alone, all so fearlessly! Even from her heavenly abode we know she will still be working as she always did for out beloved Mother Earth! Much love, blessings , and missing our beloved sister! Seethamma

I visited Uncle Anil and Aunt Pam 30 years ago when I was 18. After that they always held a special place in my heart. What they achieved in Kodagu is very special and their connection to the animals and land very moving.

I first met Pamela in December 2022 with a group of friends. I had heard about her and her work from some other friends from the Ecological Society, Pune and really wanted to meet her. My dream came true. She came across as such a frail looking small built woman, but she was extraordinary. She has achieved in a lifetime what she wanted to which is unthinkable for many others. Her book must be read by everyone again and again. The world has lost a wonderful human being and her loss has created a void which can never be filled. May her soul rest in eternal peace and bliss. May the work that she has started inspire many others to follow in her footsteps and may the SAI Sanctuary that she has created continue to thrive and grow and remain a safe haven for all creatures of the wild. Om Shanti! Amen!!
