Pamela P. Mokritski, 66, passed away Sunday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Feb. 5, 1948 to the late Bruce and Oris Orton. Pam worked for over 30 years as a Trust and Estate paralegal at various law firms in both MA and CT. One of Pamela's most cherished accomplishments was the completion of her book on the Orton Family Genealogy that was accepted into the Windsor, CT historical society in May of 2004. She leaves her loving husband Henry D. Mokritski, a daughter Tammy Stellato and her partner Steven Taupier of East Longmeadow, step-daughters Jessica Brewer and her husband Jason and Loni Mokritski and her partner Ralph Sgambato both of Port St. Lucie, FL, her 6 grandchildren; Kimberly and Nicholas Stellato, Joshua and Julia Brewer, Gavin Cox and Angelo Sgambato, her brothers and sister; Joel Orton and his family in Bethal, CT., Gary Orton and his family of Saranac Lake, NY., Richard Orton and his family of Chase Mills, NY., Douglas Orton of Springfield, MO., Laurie Johnson and her family of Burlington, VT., and Verne Orton and his family of Westfield, MA., along with many nieces and nephews. Pam was also predeceased by her sister Julie Manning and 3 brothers David Orton, Charles Orton and Jeffrey Orton. Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY 8:30 AM from the SAMPSON'S CHAPEL OF THE ACRES FUNERAL HOME, 21 TINKHAM RD. SPFLD., followed by a 10 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 509 Longmeadow St., Longmeadow. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling Hours will be held WEDNESDAY from 4 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Assn., 393 Maple St., Spfld., MA 01105.
