"A man may stand there and put all America behind him." Henry David Thoreau
Pam's love of the beaches, ponds and the rich local lore touched many and she will be missed. She was able to live on the edge, with all of America behind her and she never missed a opportunity to share her love of the Cape.
As Henry Beston said in "Outermost House"
“The three great elemental sounds in nature are the sound of rain, the sound of wind in a primeval wood, and the sound of outer ocean on a beach”
Pam was able to experience these in the most wonderful of places and I hope your family will find comfort in many fond memories of her full life lived at the beach !!

Pam, you will be missed by me and by many in our community. My memories go back a long way. We are fellow Golden lovers! You worked endlessly on the preservation of our lighthouse.Thank you. You were a support for me, almost 30 yrs ago when my son was born. Your son, Nick was the photographer at my daughters wedding. For many years you and Conrad were regulars at the First Encounter Concerts. And most recently we met weekly, unplanned, at the "Exchange" at the dump. I always walked away from our conversations feeling happy and connected. I will really miss you Pam.

One of the pleasant experiences ,when I first came to Eastham was meeting and forming a friendship with Pam. Although our paths crossed less frequently in the last few years,I have always enjoyed our association in town affairs. She will be missed.

Cathy and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of a true friend and master mentor to so many in her lifetime. Our relationship spans decades and from the earliest days at the Beach House up to the present, Pam has always been a source of wisdom, humor, understanding, charm , and dignity. There are so many memories that come to mind, no matter the circumstances or occasion, Pam was always there with just the right words, just the right sentiment and always the love and understanding to keep everything in its proper perspective. We miss you dearly
