Pamela M. Sperry, 64, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 1, 2019
Born in Akron, Ohio. She was the daughter of Walter S. and Marie K Modzel. She retired from the Akron Public Schools as an Asst. Custodian.
She is survived by her children, Butch Wolcott, of Hawaii, Pamela Ann Sperry of Akron, and Charles Sperry of Texas; her siblings, Stanley Modzel of Florida, Jimmy Modzel, of Tennessee, and Ann Modzel of Akron; four grandchildren, Timmy, Phoenix, Lukas, and Noah, and one great grandchild, Linkin.
After a difficult illness she chose to be part of the Cleveland Clinic Body Donor Program.
Calling hours will be Tues March 5, 2019 at 5, Memorial service at 6 with meal to follow. Service held at The Chapel, Green Campus, 1800 Raber Rd., Uniontown, OH 44685

I previously worked at Jennings CLC and knew Pam in that capacity. She worked a later shift and she would stop by my office and visit after the kids had been dismissed for the day and things were winding down. Pam was always so VERY kind to me. Whenever I talked with others in the building, they would always agree that she was a very sweet lady who went out of her way to help others and convey a positive attitude. I will miss our talks. She was a dear person and I have been praying for her soul and praying for her family to be comforted during this difficult time. It was an honor to have known such a caring person. God bless and keep dear Pam.

Please accept my sincere condolences. Pam was so energetic, kind and funny. I knew her while she worked at Jennings CLC, we missed her when she left.I am sure she will leave a big hole in her families hearts.
