I met Peter while I was at Limelight Networks. Limelight purchased a company that Peter worked at and eventually Peter became my manager. It was clear how much Peter loved life and his family. He was the best Spartan one could have as a boss or friend - I'm grateful for his friendship and leadership.

Pete was a wonderful person and I'm honored to call him a friend. As one of our poker buddies and someone who went on several Golf and Gamble Getaways with us, getting to know Pete was a pure pleasure and an honor! We nicknamed him "Angry Pete" as a bit of joke, as we knew he was anything but. Every time we met it was a joy to hear his stories about his wife and boys and you could see the love in his eyes when he spoke of them. I canceled my weekly golf with my buddies on Sunday, just so I could take my two boys to the Beach in honor of Pete! Even with his departure, he continues to give. as we had an incredible day and I will truly strive to be more like Pete as a father! Rest in peace my friend and thanks for sharing.

My condolences to the Spiliakos family and all of his friends. The first time I met Peter I was determined to get to know him. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to spend some time with him over a season and a half of baseball. He was engaging, intelligent, generous and always brought smiles to parents and players faces. He was a true role model.

Peter was a remarkable human being with generosity being one of his greatest qualities. He loved his family and taught all of us what is important in life. Sadly, we will miss the services, but will honor him here in his beloved country of Greece. Our thoughts and prayers are with Stacia and the boys. He left a legacy to be proud of. All our love and support...

We are so very sad of Peter's passing and are sending prayers to Stacia, Kosta and Ari at this time. Peter was a wonderful baseball fan and supporter of the Rox helping to coach too. We will miss his smile and fun loving times on and off the field. Rest in Peace Peter

I'll miss Peter's weird sense of humor, I worked with him when he was going through the bone marrow transplant many years ago.. you're not supposed to leave before me. We shared dreams -- Spartan Communications! -- and talking teddy bears!

I am so very sorry, I never got to meet peter. But i know his wife stacia and his two wonderful sons . What he taught his family and what they taught him, is that love never dies. From what I see and hear he was a really great guy. And he will be very much missed.
