Sarah Parker Wood Hendley

Sarah was born on October 28, 1939 and passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018. Sarah was a resident of Charlottesville, Virginia at the time of passing. Sarah graduated from Smith College with a B.A. in 1962 and then worked in Washington, D.C., for three years in a new Arts and Humanities Branch in the federal Office of Education as a research assistant. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Charlottesville. In lieu of flowers charitable donations may be given to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, PO Box 937, Verona, VA 24482-0937, or the Salvation Army, 207 Ridge Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902, or Virginia Institute of Autism, 943 Glenwood Station Ln #201, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
