Funeral Mass for Pasqualino E. "Patsy" Ranallo, 84, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Father Michael Troha will officiate.
Mr. Ranallo passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Geauga Hospital in Chardon.
Born Jan. 25, 1928, in Oratino, Province of Campobasso, Italy, he had been a resident of Lake County for 55 years, living in Willoughby.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby, where he was a very active parishioner helping with the parish Oktoberfest for many years, was involved with the parish bingo and a member of the Men's Oratinese Club. Patsy enjoyed playing Bocci, loved working in his garden and making wine and sausage. He was a jokester and loved to dance.
For many years, Patsy worked at Cleveland Crane as an assembler before his retirement.
He was the beloved husband of 62 years to Jenny (nee Thomas) Ranallo; loving father of Sandra A. (Tony) Fatica of Wickliffe and Barbara F. Ranallo of Wickliffe; cherished grandfather of Melissa (Jason) Dell, Anthony Fatica, James (Kristen) Fatica and Robert (Bridget) Fatica; great-grandfather of Caden, Dylan, Gabriel, Kayleigh and Lanila; brother of Ilda Fatica of Niagara Falls, Canada, Ugo (Clementina) Ranallo of Italy and Irma (Gino) Giallonardo of Niagara Falls, Canada; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Domenico and Fiorenza (nee Petti) Ranallo; brothers, Felice Ranallo and Fiorenzo Ranallo; brother-in-law, Aldo Fatica; and sisters-in-law, Leonilda Ranallo and Maria Ranallo.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.

Mr. Ranallo always had a smile and a kind word for me. He was a patient at the ophthalmology practice I worked for previously. I loved hearing about his tomatoes, peppers and winemaking. Patsy stood out in the crowd. Please accept my sympathy.
