The day I found out my heart hurts. You was true spiritual and father, man of God. I was in dis believe. You and mother Dowell was like my parents. I will never forget you as my PASTOR. You always encourage and told me truth. People may never understand how youundeler n help me understand about a true loving word of God...which lived in you to help others. It's hard to find real and true loving Pastor, friend, God dad and Spiritual. I thank God for open up you and Mother Dowell heart to accept me....took me under your wings. The day it happen I will never forget you been connected as family. I want thank you for it being obedience to God word. You rest in you got your wings. I always remember you singing my soul anchor. I love Rev. Robert E. DOWELL......YOU WILL BE MISSED.

Its been a few days since u departed from us and i miss u so much daddy.... i wake up EVERY DAY and keep hearing this song "ALL IS WELL" i know that's ur way of letting me know your okay.. and that YOU are watching over US.... PASTOR ROBERT E. DOWELL SR U WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN....u was Our "CELEBRITY".. A TRUE MAN OF GOD!!! PLZ KEEP MY FAMILY- THE DOWELL'S IN YALL PRAYERS.. this still doesn't seem real..

I remember when I first met Pastor Dowell at Great Eleazer, just hearing him preach gave me goose bumps but that voice when he sung was nothing short of a blessing a voice of gold. Pastor Robert Dowell a mighty friend preacher Sanger. Very anointed and powerful man of God. He was always a joy to be around and always had an encouraging words to me. May God bless his entire family.

RIH Pastor Dowell....My family and I will always remember his sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and compassion when my brother in law was in the hospital facing major surgery for the 4th or 5th time in 2009. As we were standing around the bed, worried and weary, a tall gentleman stepped into the room, looked around and said, "Oh sorry..wrong room. " He then paused and asked if we would like to pray. We did not even know his name, but he, a true servant of God, cared enough to stop and spend a few minutes praying for and encouraging us. We certainly needed prayer right at that time. His quiet, but fervent prayer changed the atmosphere of the room from fear to faith and an anticipation of Gods' healing power. A truly humble shepherds heart. My brother in law recovered from the surgey and is doing well. We later learned that he was a Pastor in Ft Worth and we had an opportunity to thank him at a revival in Grand Prairie a few years later. Our family offers our sincerest condolences and prayers to the family and the Greater Eleazar church family during this most difficult time. May God bless and strengthen each of you.
