Pat BRADLEY Obituary
Unexpectedly and peacefully, surrounded by his loving family Friday, July 27, 2012. Dearly beloved husband who will be sorely missed by his ever-loving and cherished wife Sondra (nee Trevelyan). Loving and proud father of Peter (Mary) and Anne (Bob). Devoted grandfather of Julia and Sarah. Dear and close brother of Paula (Al Bates), Dick (Sally), and predeceased by his youngest brother Drew (Connie). Fondly remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He spent his entire career as a High School Teacher with the Carleton Board of Education. In addition, he was a man of many talents and interests. He was an avid Bridge Player (Silver Life Master) and a well known and regarded Bridge teacher in Ottawa. He was a passionate golf player. During his life he enjoyed sailing, canoeing, fishing, flying, tennis and was an accomplished model boat builder. He was a dedicated adherent of St. David and St. Martin's Presbyterian Church. A longtime friend of Bill. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) on Thursday August 2nd from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at St. David and St. Martin Presbyterian Church, 444 St. Laurent Boulevard on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Pat showed tremendous courage and grace while living with ALS. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to the Ontario ALS Society would be appreciated.

mr b was one of the few teachers who cared. I wasn't the best student but he made sure I didn't give up. so sorry to here of his struggles with ALS.

my deepest sympathies to the Bradley family, he was a fine teacher and it was not until many years down the road of life did I realize all the things I learned from him in law, business and accounting. I also remember him fondly.

My deepest sympathies to the entire Bradley family. As an AY Jackson graduate of 1985, Mr. Bradley's patience and love for teaching was evident to me. I have many fond memories of his classes. His legacy will continue on with the mark he made on many of his students. Fondly remembered.

My heartfelt condolences to Sondra, and family. I will always remember Pat for the kindness in the words he shared with me. At the bridge table he always showed respect for his opponents and patients for the newcomers. I am very sadden to learn of his passing.
