Pat Caudill

Patricia "Pat" Jeanne Caudill was born in Rochester on March 11, 1944, to Thomas P. and Gladys E. Carroll. Pat died peacefully on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at her home in Stuart, Fla. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, at 11 a.m. at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home, with a private burial. 

Pat graduated from Roseville High School in Roseville, Calif., and attended the University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio, and Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She was married and divorced from William Cowan and William Caudill. Pat worked for WENCO Inc., a commercial construction company in New Carlisle, Ohio, until moving to Stuart, Fla., in 1998 where she worked for the same owner who opened WENCOFLA Inc. in Jensen Beach, Fla. She was still working at the time of her death.

Pat leaves behind her beloved Chihuahua, Tio, also known as Sugar Baby.

Pat is survived by her mother, Gladys, Stuart, Fla.; three sisters, Susan E. Carroll (Dr. Bradley Hiner), of Milwaukee, Wis., Sandra L. Carroll, Stuart, Fla., and Linda Carroll-Shern, JD (Daniel Shern), of Eagan, Minn.; two nephews, Todd VerNess, Stewartville, and Ryan VerNess, Sunnyvale, Calif,; and three nieces, Hillary Hiner, PhD (Giovanni Colecchio), Santiago, Chile, Cecily (Dr. Akin) Oni-Orisan, Greenfield, Wis., and Kailey (Dustin) Buse, Eagan, Minn.; and two great-nieces, Molly Kappelhoff, Eagan, Minn., and Niya Oni-Orisan, Greenfield, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her father; her nephew, Bennett Hiner; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
