I've never stopped missing this beautiful lady. She was such a big part of my life. I know she's happy now, with Carl 'walking those streets of gold'. Two wonderful people who are missed deeply.

Carolyn Frady had a quiet respectful demeanor with everyone. She was calm, thoughtful and gave just the right tone to the office of the Chancellor for each person who came in. I never heard anyone say a cross or unpleasant thing about her. She is missed. My husband, Theodore Seitz, and I always thought highly of her. She was the role model for administrative support.

I knew Mrs. Frady a long time. I was a students at UNCA and then returned in 1984 as a faculty member. When she announced g=her retirement, we were all saddened--actually wondering what we would do, how we would manage without all of that wisdom. My sincere condolences to the family.

Carolyn was one of the first people I met when I came to work at UNCA in 1984. I always thought she was so kind, beautiful and dignified. I'll always remember her smile and her laugh. Rest in peace Carolyn, you will be remembered fondly.

Carolyn was a woman of grace and kindness. I worked with her a short time at UNCA but every time we met at campus functions or around town, she always had a smile and nice thing to say. She was loved and respected and will be missed.

Carolyn came into my life as my work supervisor at UNCA but quickly became a dear friend and confidant. I've never known a sweeter lady and she blessed my life incredibly just by loving me.
I remember when I first started at UNCA, Carolyn & I had made an error on a BOT mailing. We worked side by side like busy bees, staying late to get it fixed in time. The next morning I put a Far Side cartoon on her computer - a stagecoach being held up by a pair of rabbits. The stagecoach driver, arms up, was saying to his partner: This isn't going to look good on our report, Leroy....I inserted Carolyn's name for Leroy's and heard her burst of laughter when she saw it. That is one of many precious memories I have of Carolyn and my work days together.
Time and distance didn't dim our friendship. I'm so blessed to have known Carolyn and I will miss her - and Carl - forever.
RIP my beautiful friend. I love you so much!
