Pat W. Jones Mr. Pat W. Jones of Enterprise passed away on October 23, 2013. He was 78. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 27, 2013 in the Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Enterprise with Minister Jim Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in the Dallas - Ft. Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, TX. The family will receive friends on Sunday beginning at 1:00 PM and continuing until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Enterprise Civitan Club, c/o Phyllis Irland, 102 Eagle Circle, Enterprise, AL 36330 or the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 310900, Enterprise, AL 36331-0900. Mr. Jones was born November 12, 1934 in Magdalena, NM to the late John Raymond and Arrie Elizabeth Wommack Jones. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was also a member of the Muenster Masonic Lodge in Germany and the Enterprise and Boll Weevil Civitan Clubs. He was retired from the U.S. Army as a helicopter pilot, having served in Korea and Vietnam. He was a Senior Instructor Pilot at Cairns Army Airfield at Ft. Rucker. He was the owner of P&L Storage in Level Plains. He was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Debra Ann Jones and Teresa Diane Tangney; 2 brothers: Bryce Jones and Glen Jones. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, C. Louise Jones, Level Plains; 4 daughters: Patricia Peacock (David), Duncan, OK, Kathy Jones, Cedar Park, TX, Ellen Smith (Brian), Carrollton, TX, Judy Jones, Higgins, OK; sister Mary Lu Grayson, Oklahoma City, OK; son-in-law Albert Tangney, Krugerville, TX; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Hey dad, love you and I will see you again one day. Dad, heaven does not have brown clothes, boots, hats and a large walking staff, but we will know one another just the same. Say "Hey" to Teresa and Debbie for us! We miss you already.
