Patricia Barbera

Patricia "Patty" Barbera, 69, passed away on March 9, 2025, in White Lake, Michigan. Born on April 3, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, Patty lived a life defined by generosity and unwavering loyalty to those she cared about.

Patty's kindness knew no bounds. She was the type of person who would give everything she had to bring happiness to others, even if it meant leaving herself with nothing. Her selflessness and unique spirit touched the lives of many, making her truly one of a kind.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Mary Gribeck; Patricia Hoskins and her husband Iain Kerr; and Steven Hoskins. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Justin Baker, Drake Charter, Garet Franklin, Kaleb Henkel, Kyle Henkel, Ely Franklin, Cameron Hoskins, Juliette Hoskins, and Penelope Hoskins and a great granddaughter Zeeta. Patty is also survived by her siblings: Kathy Timson and her husband Andy; Anthony Barbera and his wife Tracey; Sharon Bolender; and Richard Barbera. She leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Mildred Barbera; as well as her siblings Jack Barbera, Mary Thompson, Donald Barbera, and Phyllis Barbera.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Patty's life will be held on April 5, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at HAVEN, located at 801 Vanguard in Pontiac, Michigan. In accordance with Patty's wishes, this gathering will be a joyful celebration of the life she lived so generously.
