Dear Karl And family, I want to offer my condolences to all of you. I had hoped to be able to do this during the service but was unable. I want to let you know how I remember Pat or as I had called her when I was a child Patsy. We were cousins. There were almost two different sets of cousins. Pat, my cousin Joyce, Margie and my sister Norma were closer in age. Pat's brother Roger was kind of in between. And my cousin Monica, Randy and I were very close in age. Pat was approximately 8 years older than I was, which doesn't sound like a lot now, but when you were a child of eight and she was a teenager of 16, that's a big difference. I do remember her from family, outings, reunions, celebrations, and weddings. She always had a BEAUTIFUL smile and was so kind to everyone. I remember her becoming a nurse and it was very exciting. As a kid? Or maybe a young teenager? I got to witness all these wonderful cousins getting married and hoped one day I would know the same type of love. The service today was beautiful as well as the picture of your mom. It was good to see how you all celebrated her and your faith. Keep the love and the good memories in your heart always and share them with each other as they will keep her close.
My prayers and those of my family will be with all of you. God bless. She is in her new home.
