In Loving Memory of Patricia Ann Burkle

July 11, 1945 - May 16, 2025

Patricia Ann Burkle (née Cook), beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on July 11, 1945, in Barberton, Ohio, Patricia spent most of the early years of her life in her home state before relocating to Rialto, California in 1986, where she resided for the remainder of her life.

Patricia was a woman of grace, compassion, and quiet strength. She worked as a beautician in Ohio for 20 years, then as a customer service representative at U-Haul in California, where she spent 21 dedicated years before retiring.

Beyond her professional life, Patricia was deeply involved in her community. She volunteered for many years at Clinton Church of the Nazarene in Ohio and later gave her time to a local blood clinic, continuing her lifelong habit of giving. She had a passion for fiction books, the performing arts, and music-but nothing brought her more joy than being with her family.

Patricia is survived by her loving daughter Deanna Miller; cherished grandchildren Ryan Miller and Alicia Miller; devoted son-in-law Michael Miller; dear sisters Donna Adkins and Barbara Cook; and nephews Glenn Adkins and Tim Adkins. She was preceded in death by her father, William Cook; mother, Augustine Cook; husband, Wayne Burkle; and her son, Jeffrey Burkle.

Those who knew Patricia will remember her most for her loving kindness, her generosity of spirit, and the gentle wisdom she shared with all who had the privilege of knowing her. Throughout her life, Patricia faithfully served the Lord with humility and love, and she will be remembered by all who knew her for her pure heart and unwavering devotion to others. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
