Pat was a great lady, and a great inspiration to us these past few years. We "re-met" in the elevator at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance a couple years ago, and have talked back and forth about our battles with the dragon ever since. As a veteran of the fight, Pat gave us a lot of support, advice, and encouragement which was a great comfort to us scared newbies. We've really valued her friendship- she was a special lady!!-

Dear Pat, I love you, and I miss you, and the girls miss you and love you and Darrin loves and misses you too. You will always be the Silver haired sexy fox, that blessed us with love kindness generosity and let's not forget the crochet. Your smile was a warm hug that left no chill in the air. I will make our fudge as per your instructions and remember to find a wand for me too so when I get there we can wreak some havoc with lots of giggles. Who knows the 10th kingdom could be just around the corner, and you can have the shoes, which you know is huge! I will talk to you Tuesday and listening hard for even a whisper. Everyday forever and always Matwo! Wingardium Leviosa! I bet the wings are awesome! I love you!
