Stu and Patsy were great friends at Cypress Lakes In Lakeland, FL. Being originally from Racine, WI we shared our love of Wisconsin Badger sports as well of house parties in Florida and golfing with friends. She will be missed by her friends down in Florida. God bless.

My condolences to the family. Patsy (Mumsie) as I used to call her because she took me under her wing after my husband passed away was a very strong & caring person in her own way. We shared a lot of laughter & a lot of tears together. After living next door to Patsy for 17 years, the cul-de-sac here at Cypress was never the same after she left. Farewell Mumsie, rest in peace

Our dear friend has left us all for a better place to be. Patsy keep them laughing like you did with us. I loved you and have missed you since you left Cypress Lakes, but we all know you had to go back to Wi. May the good Lord Bless and keep you in his arms, and bring you to all you know in heaven. Rest in Peace. Love Audrey & Floyd Banzhaf.

My sympathies for your loss. May the words at Isaiah 35:5,6 give you comfort and hope.

The Worm family sends our sincere condolences to all of the Desmond's. It was certainly entertaining living next door to your family all of those years at Sharpes. Your mom and dad are reunited again and probably singing their favorite songs and playing that crazy stumpf fiddle!

I have to agree with the earlier messages that Patsy's laugh was a trademark! I would add her voice and rolling of the eyes:) On a more serious note, I remember her spiritual side. What a great combination of fun families in the Desmond/Featherston clans. My mom was (Stuart's Sr.) 1st cousin and my younger brother Rob was a pal of son Stu. I used to babysit for these kids but I wasn't much older than Ellen! Fond memories and lots of love to all, Kathy Jennings Friend

Desmond Family,
Our deepest condolences from the entire Flood clan regarding the passing of your mother. Lots of great stories from my parents about Patsy and Stuie and the greatest generation! That generation had fewer things to worry about so they were able to get together regularly and let loose, led by your parents! We benefited growing up by being able to experience life's learning moments, usually without serious consequences. Cherish the memories!

Desmond Family,
Deepest condolences on your mother's passing. Oh the stories my parents shared involving your parents and the rest of the generation that lived life to the fullest! As part of the family values and an era of fewer macro concerns, our generation was able to experience life's learning moments without too serious consequences. Cherish the memories.

I remember your fun, joyful and lively parents so well, and how close mom was to her Desmond cousins and their spouses while we were growing up in Milwaukee. Mimo and Patsy got to have the visit mom wanted after all! Condolences, love and hugs. Sherry

Dear Desmond clan,
I remember many a crazy time at 831 E Buttles Lane. The blue living room, and all the picture frames nailed to the wall in the family room.We all joked if Patsy put one more picture up the wall would collapse. Never a dull moment! My sincere sympathies to Stuie, Pat, Jimmy, Michael and JoAnne and your families. Patsy was one of a kind! Big hugs to all, DD (Ellen's good friend from High School)

I can still hear Patsy's infectious laugh. It filled the air at Elkhart Lake for many years. Patsy and Stuie Desmond were more than the 'life of the party' at the lake...they WERE the party! My deepest condolences to everyone in the Desmond family and to all of Patsy's relatives. She certainly knew how to spread fun and good cheer and she and Stuie were wonderful, welcoming neighbors who were always kind and cordial and so very sweet to the Bury boys.
Thanks, Patsy.
