Patricia Farmer Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 20, 2022.
Patricia "Pat" Lois Farmer, age 83, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022. She was born on October 30, 1938 in Newark, DE to the late George Washington Morris and Lena Fay (McMillion) Morris.

Pat was a member of the Antique Car Club of America, Newark United Methodist Church in Newark, DE and Buckingham Presbyterian Church of Fort Myers, FL. She was an avid reader and loved traveling. Pat enjoyed watching Jeopardy and some referred to her as the "Jeopardy Queen". She also enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, but her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family. Pat's children and grandchildren were the light of her life and she made sure to spoil them. She was very active with their school events, whether it was with fundraising, cooking or softball games.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, David Franklin Farmer, Sr.; children: David Farmer, Jr., Lynn Farmer, and Phillip Farmer; grandchildren: Rachel, Ryan, Reid, Kaley and Richard Farmer; and her great-grandchild, Luna. In addition to her parents, Pat is preceded by her brothers: Edward and Richard Morris.

A celebration of Pat's life will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE 19711. Family and friends may begin visiting at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made payable to "Hope Hospice Cape Coral" and sent in care of the funeral home.
