Dear Margaret, Mary, Billy, Patty and Pam:
Our prayers and condolences go to all of you for the loss of your Mom. It's been many years since we've been in touch but that does not mean forgotten.
Your Mom was very helpful to us when my husband was diagnosed in 2001 with his illness. She gave us such good information and shared her experiences and encouragement with us. We have never forgotten that! God is good and will now give her Peace and bless you all with Peace as well! I will request a congregational prayer this Sunday in remembrance of your Mom. Love to all!

Uncle Bob, Pam, Billy, Mary, Margaret, and Patty...
I was so very sorry to hear about Pat, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I remember the summer after my husband was diagnosed with ALS, Pat and I sat in my father's backyard and talked. She was very straight-forward about his disease, his feelings, mine, his home healthcare, how I was dealing with it all...where other's were "afraid" (out of concern) to talk too much about it, she didn't hold back. Did she KNOW that's exactly what I needed? It was such a relief! Her words and that conversation came to my mind many times over the next year before I lost him. What a wonderful woman!
She will be sadly missed; please know she is in a better place and happy & healthy once again!

Patty and Family,
I think I've met most of your family, and I know that, like you, they loved and cherished your mom. So this comes at a truly difficult time, when the world is full of the love, happiness, and warmth of Christmas, the gathering of families, and the expressions of hope for the future. So, in that spirit, I'm hoping that in your future this can be a blessing, bringing friends and family together to celebrate Christmas and to remember a wonderful woman who blessed you all with her love.

Her light is a source of warmth and energy. It gives direction and guidance, turning your heads to its brightness giving you hope when you find yourselves in darkness. Her light must give to others for that is her nature. When you are lost it says "This way." When you are distant it says "Come back home." My house cannot be dark. Her light grows brighter, warmer when you are near. You are safe within her reach. You have all grown arround her. Look closely,it has taken its place behind your eyes.As a light she has no fear of the dark. Her main concern is for you to see your way,and once you see it,to stay on it and not falter in your direction. As a light she loves your ideas for the future, plans for today, good times and laughter, the world and its gifts. Her kind of light will fire your lives.Maybe her lamp doesn't work anymore, but her light does. And it will. It is now a part of your lamps and you will all be brighter because of it.
