In 1972, my husband and I were patients of Dr. Kraft and we became friends with Pat...we were mutual cat lovers and when we found out we were pregnant with our first child, we asked Pat if she and Bill would like to adopt our kitten, Abby. We found a box of baby kittens at the York Fair and took one home with us. We were concerned about having a cat with a new baby, so Pat was happy to help us out. Little did we know until later, that Abby turned out to be a boy but Pat and Bill loved him anyway! Maybe the family remembers this pet and I hope it brings good memories. Pat also shared her delicious chocolate cake recipe with peanut butter icing and I still use it to this day. I am sorry to hear of her passing and extend my sincerest sympathy to her whole family. She was a lovely lady and wonderful person. Gail (Heilig) Reachard
