Hayden Patricia Elaine "Patt" Hayden, age 72, of Coon Rapids, died peacefully on April 10, 2005. Beloved wife, mother Grammy, sister and friend. Preceded in death by her parents, George & Nettie Kesser. Patt is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bob. Also survived by son, Philip Hayden & his wife Bonita; daughter, Terri Blackwell & her husband Curt; grandchildren, Terra Blackwell, Alicia Hayden, Austin Hayden; sister, Barbara Kesser; many other relatives and many, many friends, especially her beloved "Rowdies." Patt was a teacher, an artist, and a great cook. As a teacher, Patt taught kindergarten and in one-room country schools. She was active in her community and in her church. She will be missed by all who knew her. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 11 AM, St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 707 89th Ave NE, Blaine. Visitation Wednesday, 5-8 PM, Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd., Coon Rapids; also 1 hour prior to service at church. GEARHART 763-755-6300

Dear Bob, Thank you so very much for your call yesterday. Our prayers and support are with you and your family. Certainly, we cannot know the intensity of your loss at this time even as we know your faith elevates you from death to resurrection and eternal life. In remembering Patt, we cannot picture her with any expression other than the warmest smile or the deepest heartfelt laugh with her wonderful sense of humor. Pat was such a beautiful lady! Her kindness and friendship I will deeply miss! Her smile and laughter and great sense of humor made her the best! You could tell she had great love for her kids, grandkids and especially you Bob! I know this will be a tough time for all, but having those wonderful memories of Pat must always be remembered and shared constantly. I know she would not want us to do anything else.

Bob, know that I and my family are here for you as your friends. The loss of someone so loved is always hard, but the pain lessons as time goes. Keeping the memories of her alive in any manner is the key!
