RACINE - Patricia J. Hohensee, 77, passed away, unexpectedly, at her residence on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. She was born in Milwaukee, on August 8, 1939 the daughter of the late Ralph and Adeline (nee: Dzioba) Benning. Mrs. Hohensee had been employed the City of Racine, in the Treasurer’s Office, for over 25 years, retiring in 2005. On November 14, 1959 she was united in marriage to Charles R. Hohensee. Surviving are her husband, Charles; their three sons, Gary Hohensee, of Racine, Kurt (Joanne) Hohensee, of Germantown, and Brian (Jennifer) Hohensee, of Racine; five grandchildren, Gina Fischer, Sandi (Mauricio) Delgadillo, John, Madeline, and Megan Hohensee; 4 great grandchildren, Natalia, Dominic, Liam, and Luciana; brother, Dean (Audrey) Benning, of Milwaukee. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive her. Honoring her wish, a private funeral service was held followed by burial at West Lawn Memorial Park.
