Patricia House Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 9, 2025.
Mrs. Patricia Ann "Pat" "Patty" House (née Spencer) passed away on February 7, 2025, in Winter Haven, Florida. She was born on June 7, 1950, in Ithaca, New York, and lived a life filled with warmth and kindness.

For many years, Patricia worked at NCR/Axiom, where she built lasting connections and contributed meaningfully to her field. Beyond her professional life, she found joy in simple pleasures-crocheting intricate designs with care, indulging in crime shows and the Food Network, and never passing up the opportunity for a good shopping trip or a delicious dessert.

For the past 15 years, Patricia embraced a seasonal lifestyle, spending summers in New York and winters in Winter Haven, Florida. This balance allowed her to enjoy the best of both worlds-cherishing warm summer days up north with family while escaping to Florida's milder climate during the colder months.

She is survived by her husband, Les; her son, Philip(Annette); her daughter, Denise(David); her younger sister, Colleen(Rick); and her beloved nieces and nephews, Amy, Kelly, and Nick. She is also survived by brother-in-laws, Allen(Ivon), Charles(Mary), David Reynolds, and sister-in-law, Linda. Patricia was also a cherished grandparent to Sarah, Kristen, Jennah, Adam, and Craig. She also had several great nieces and nephews. Pat had many friends throughout her life, but only had one true best friend that was always there for her, Minnette(Jack). She was predeceased by her parents, Teresa and Leon, as well as her sister Cathy.

Patricia's kindness and attentive nature left a lasting impression on those who knew her. Her memory will be treasured by family and friends alike. May her legacy of warmth and compassion continue to bring comfort to all who loved her.

I held many Tupperware Parties at her home in Newfield. Although I have not seen her in many years, I thought of her often and she was one of those people that you could never forget. She was so wonderful. I´m so happy that I saw this, but I also am very very sad about it all.
