Oh my! I am saddened to view this. I live in Tennessee now and don't follow news much in The Woodlands. I have known Pat for many years. Tim and my youngest son, David Heddy went to school together, even Baylor. I visited The Woodlands this past April and made a point to stop in at Sheryl's to give Pat a hug and catch up on life. Your Mom was an amazing woman and I know she will be greatly missed. Warm memories are bountiful I'm sure!

Your sister, mother and grandmother was a very special person. I did not know her outside of the Hallmark store, but for so many years every time I stepped inside those doors I would pause for a moment to see if I could hear her voice. As many others have also mentioned, she always asked about family and gave the best hugs. She was one of the warmest and kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I will truly miss her.

It is with deepest heartfelt sympathy to the Hunter family on the loss of this most wonderful person. Our family has lived in The Woodlands for 32 years and I have known Pat for a very long time. I remember when your family and ours hosted Japanese swimmers that came to The Woodlands many, many years ago. We all met at Shadowbend Park to tell the swimmers good bye and all signed pictures for them to take home. I was lucky enough like so many others to keep track of the kids and grandkids with her at Hallmark. She was an amazing wife, mother, and friend to all. I attended her funeral service today and it was very nice. The eulogy was spectacular...what a great job. She will be missed and I pray that your pain eases with time.

I will miss her sweet face and conversation at the Hallmark store. So sorry for your loss. I didn't know her well, but she always took time to ask how I was doing. I'll miss seeing her.

I just learned of your great loss. My thoughts & prayers go to all of the family. Like so many others, I met Pat in the Hallmark shop when she first started. She always greeted me & everyone with a kind word & smile. We would talk about our kids, I believe her son went to HS w/ my son. She was a glowing beam in that store & it will NEVER be the same, when I go in to not see her smiling face. Go in peace my dear Pat. I know you are now your family's guardian angel. Sincerely, Debbie Granda

Beth, Katie and Tim : I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers go to you and your family for comfort during this sad time. My memories of your mom are her love and devotion to her kids and grandchildren; her upbeat and positive attitude; she was always smiling; her spaghetti dinners for soccer girls and swim parties for soccer girls and some soccer guys. I enjoyed our soccer mom dinners and am happy that we were able to stay in touch. Pat will be dearly missed.

Dear Beth, Katie and Tim,
My deepest sympathy to you and your families. Your mom and I shared many hours with you as children and since she was working at Sheryl's, many hugs and best wishes as you were married and had children. It is so very sad to lose your mom, but she is always with you. You will recognize her presence in your lives in little everyday things. Know that she loved you and the lessons you learned from her will continue to guide you through life's ups and downs

To Pat's family---Pat was so dearly loved in our neighborhood. I considered her the matriarch of our street which she kept such a loving and watchful eye over. She cared dearly for everyone here and was always so upbeat to be around. I will miss seeing her at 5:30 in the morning when we crossed paths often with our dogs. The deep pain of losing a mother, sister, friend is so hard to bear. I pray you find comfort and growth with each other. Please let me know if I can help in any way.

I had the blessing to had worked with Pat at Sheryl's Hallmark for over 3 years. Starting at the young age of 15, Pat was able to have such a good influence on me by being so kind, thoughtful, and caring. Her light shined so bright during her life and she was able to shine on so many people. Regular customers, friends, even the customer that only bought a Christmas card once a year. Pat treated everyone the same: with such a kind heart. She will be dearly missed and I will think of her often. I actually thought of her today when I saw a chocolate bar with potato chips inside. Her favorite!

I only knew Pat briefly through my daughter, who used to work for Sheryl's Hallmark. However, it only took meeting her to instantly like her. She was such a sweet and caring person. Her bright welcoming smile always made you feel special and she was a joy to talk to. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family. My God give you grace at this sad time.

So sad to hear of the sudden loss of this beautiful woman. For nearly 20 years, she has made going to the CC Hallmark store like going to see friends. Pat shared in the joy and sadness of everyone who came to the store to remember life events with cards and gifts for loved ones. She was especially kind to my father-in-law in all his years before he passed.
Pat, your smiling face and beautiful soul will be missed here in The Woodlands. Deepest sympathy and prayers for your family as they grieve this terrible loss.
Eternal rest grant unto Pat, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon her.
With love,
From a Fellow Buckeye

Dear Katie, Tim and Beth,
I was so sad to hear the news about your mother. She has been a positive light in my life since we met. We spent hours laughing and enjoying being "soccer mons" together when the girls played soccer at McCullogh. We still got together for "soccer mom" dinners every few weeks. The first thing she would do was learn the waiter's name and before the night was over she had made another friend. I am so sorry that I will not be there to say goodbye. I know she loved all of you and her grandchildren so much. You brought so much joy to her life. I will miss you my friend. Love , Sonia

Beth, Katie, Tim and families...
SO much to say, can't even begin. No words adequate to express what's in my heart right now. We all have the same memories of 35+ years of family friendship. Working together, playing together, loving and caring for each other. And your Mom was at the heart and soul of it all. Her life, the way she lived it, renders the phrase "Gone but not Forgotten" truer than true. We honor her life, her legacy as we celebrate her life and the gift she was to our family and so many others. The day we first met at Creekside pool all those years ago and all the time spent together thereafter is remembered as one of the finest moments in my life. Please know the depth of our sincerity when we say, simply, we understand and say "We are so sorry for your loss" and know how much she will be missed far beyond the confines of your inner family circle. With Love, Always, Chris Albrecht
