I met Pat when she was a supervisor at Terra Linda Kaiser Emergency room and I was a fairly new emergency room nurse.
She was a firm, kind, and supportive supervisor who constantly got my tempestuous nature back on track! Her wonderful style inspired me to move on to be a head nurse at an ER in Truckee. I was never able to live up to her standards.
Our relationship was only for 3 years yet she really influenced my life as a nurse!
Condolences to all who had the insight and opportunity to stay in touch with her. I am sure your hearts will always remember her fondly.

Pat Kendall was a strong and committed partner with the public schools of Marin County. The health and well-being of our students was a major priority for Pat, and she was always willing to partner in projects and programs that enhanced the health and safety of our schools. She was especially important as a partner during the Covid pandemic and was instrumental in being one of the key supporters that allowed Marin public schools to be among the first to reopen and welcome their students back to school. That would never have happened without Pat and her team and Kaiser, assisting our schools us in every possible way.
Pat was a dedicated supporter of the Marin School to Career Partnership. Through her efforts, countless high school students were able to explore the myriad careers in the healthcare industry. She opened the doors for students who may have never had such an opportunity. To hear Pat speak to students about her passion for healthcare, was a true gift.
She will be missed but will be remembered forever through her remarkable work and love for the people of our community.

PK was a true leader! She was about the people, which were the staff, physicians, community members and most importantly the patients of KP SRF. She made all feel special and unique in their own way. She definitely left a huge imprint on so many of us that knew her. Thank you Pat for caring for us all these years, personally and professionally.

In 1971 Pat was working as an ER nurse at tiny Kahuku Hospital on the North Shore of O´ahu. I had just started working at Queen´s Hospital ER . Emergency Medicine was taking off. We had a mutual friend who worked at Kahuku as an ER Doctor. When a patient came into Kahuku Hospital, Pat called my friend to come in. Enroute "Monk" had a terrible accident that required him to be transported to Honolulu on the other end of the island. Several weeks later he succumbed to his injuries. About a few years later I moved to Marin to work at the new Kaiser hospital ER and met Pat, and we connected in mourning our friend "Monk". I hadn´t known she knew my friend. I am certain that this experience motivated her to improve emergency care. She dedicated herself to improve emergency care from "start to finish" and Marin County. She was a warm and loving woman and we were lucky to have her with us. R.I.P., Pat

I have a very fond memory of Pat Kendall, she was terrific!
For a while she and her grandson were students of mine at the College of Marin, as they got ready for a trip to Italy. A real pleasure! and then I also came to be in touch with Pat in her management role at Kaiser, ans she was very helpful and supporive in my search for help for my son.
Always pleasant, always ready to help. I and we will miss Pat a lot!

I was a nurse at Kaiser San Rafael Hospital for many years under her leadership. Pat was a true humanitarian who cared for our San Rafael and Marin County community and it was palpable under her direction. I had a lot of respect for her. Condolences to family and friends of Pat Kendall.
