I grew up on S. Walnut Street and practically "lived" at the library. I was lucky to know Pat. Just thinking of her now...makes me smile. She use to let me do some of the small duties at the front desk while she went to the back bathroom to sneak a cigarette break. I was always so worried Mrs. Judd would walk in :) I loved hanging out with her. She had a great sense of humor. I ran into her years later in Tucson (I was living there), at Walmart of all places. We had a GREAT visit and I went home nostalgic for dear Woodville. Because of people like Pat Kruse, my childhood years in Woodville were happy and carefree and blessed! I sat down and cried when I received her obituary in the mail from my Mom. My deepest sympathy to the family.

She was a great Mom and a fine Lady and while we will miss her, she left us with some great memories to remember her by.

Dear John and family, I met Pat through "Amy's Avid Readers". She immediately became one of my favorite ladies of the group. We loved how she made us each a name card, how she always had notes on every book we read, and I personally loved her soothing reading voice. What a charming woman. She will be greatly missed.

Sincerely,

John, I am so terribly sorry about you losing your Pat. I like her picture, I can see her humor in it.

I'm so very sorry that I cannot attend the celebration of her life, but you and your sons will be in my caring thoughts. I'll be in touch, Love, Terry

Tim, bros, and wives, I'm very sorry for your loss. Seems like yesterday; Tim, when your Mom was bringing lemonade out to you and I in your back yard, during a game of Whiffle Ball Home Run Derby. Pat was certainly a fine woman and Mom. Best Regards, Les and Carin Stair Tucson, AZ

Unfortunately I am in Michigan where my father is ill. Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss. I always loved talking with Pat. She was a wonderful person. I wish I could be there doing this in person.
