In memory of
1929 - 2014
February 8, 2014
People always said that I look so much like my mom. But great grandma said that she could pick one of me out of a room full of my mom. I would always see her with the biggest smile across her face. I am always told that I was so lucky that I met her, and I am lucky because most people don't get to know their great grandparents.
I miss you great grandma

Dear "Mrs Talbot",
Goodbye for now -
will we meet again?
. I hope so.
Hearing of your passing, memories laid to rest as we've grown up and away have resurfaced -crystallized now into perhaps more truth than we could appreciate at the time. Being the one, you looked out for all, setting an example with your life- you made it look so easy - life- living it with strength and humor while for the "kids" you made it just seem FUN. Teaching us as you cared for us. I remember learning about hope in the reviving of stale potato chips- all is not lost!
The Talbot family had a undeniable influence on my, and I suspect many other young lives.
She was an "original", leaving a legacy to all she touched". People say these things - they do not originate with me. After the passing of someone so full of life, we sit in disbelief and awe- well, I do. This is a truth you lived - to inspire by example and in passing will leave some speechless for a time.
In appreciation and love,
PEACE Cindy Skibba Snider

This book is not large enough to list the many memories me and my siblings have with Pat and her children. Many days of play and her signature "yodeling " telling us playtime was done can still be heard. She was a lovely spirit and will be fondly remembered!

After reading this about Pat, I feel privileged to know this woman through her wonderful daughter, Dorothy. I would hope my legacy would even touch the wake this woman left in her path through life. I am so sure all were blessed that knew her personally.

Pat was a great friend to me. She always made me feel at home in her home as she did with everyone. She always made me feel like part of the family. Pat had the biggest heart when it came to us kids. Love her for that--not many people always made room for kids--PAT ALWAYS DID!!! Love you for being you!! Deb Depner
