Patricia Landon Obituary
Patricia A. Landon, 76 of Binghamton went to be with the Lord on Friday January 20, 2017 at the Fairview Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas Landon. She is survived by her sons Eric and Lori Landon of Chenango Bridge; Michael and Patty Landon Colorado Springs CO; daughters Nancy and Philip Woodham of Daytona Beach FL, Elizabeth and Ed Houghtaling Binghamton; grandchildren Zachary, Amanda, Sarah, Kathleen, Holly, Rebecca, Micheala, Emily, Kristi, Samantha: great grandchildren Ricky, Elijah; She was a longtime member and secretary of the First Presbyterian Church of Johnson City for over 25 years She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and friend to all. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 1pm at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc. 428 Main Street Johnson City. Her pastor the Rev Robert Peak will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday at 11am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Broome County Dog Shelter 110 Cutler Pond Road Binghamton NY 13905

beth and family, we were so sorry to here about your mom, she was quite special to us and i am so glad we got to see here if only for a minute Thursday night ....she was a very very special lady and a great room mate to our mom.......the thought of her will always make us smile......

What not to love about Pat Landon? When I lived in Binghamton, she took me under her wing like a mother hen. I called her "Ma" Landon and Doug was "Pa" Landon. She taught me a mantra that is a perfect example of who Pat is and was, and which I took to heart and use every day of my life even today: I am loving and capable. She loved to cook and she got me hooked on the Frugal Gourmet and that set me off on an adventure of experimental cooking. She was kind to everyone and everything. And her positivity - well, I can only say - I wish I could be like you, Pat.
Thanks to you, dear sweet Ma for being a light to us all and to me. I miss you so much, but know that you are tending to all your loved ones, even now that you are in heaven. The earth lost a wonderful, saintly woman but gained a sweet, sweet angel.
