Patricia Ann Loehr

Patricia A. Loehr, 76, of Garden Plain, KS, born January 30, 1942 to Kenneth and Eva Whitney of Van Nuys, California, passed away on October 1, 2018. Patricia and husband Charles "Chuck" Samuel Loehr of Haven, KS married, March 21, 1972 in Las Vegas, NV. They moved to Kansas in 1978, living in the Burrton-Halstead area most of their lives. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Kenneth and Eva Whitney; her husband, Charles S. Loehr; brothers, Edward Givens of Palm Springs, California and Gary Givens, of California; sister Beverly Givens of Colorado; son-in-law, Lynn Buell of Hutchinson, KS. Patricia is survived by children, James Karches of Hutchinson, KS, Jennifer Buell of Hutchinson, KS, Sylvia (Brent) Woodard of Garden Plain, KS, and Charles "Chuck" L. Loehr of Halstead, KS; stepdaughters, Carrie Cunningham of Ohio and Melody Lippen of California; brother, George (Gini) Whitney of Corning, California; sisters, Sue McCarthy and Anoma DeHart; sister-in-law, B.J. Givens of Palm Springs, California; 6 grandchildren, James Karches of California, Nicolas Karches, Danielle Cole, Brett Buell, Kristen Buell all of Hutchinson, KS, and Logan Loehr of Halstead, KS. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Disabled American Veterans or to the Children's Miracle Network. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 at Laurel Cemetery, 5362 E. Greenfield Rd, Haven, KS 67543.
