My heart is broken. Pat was a favorite friend. I always responded to her smile and out-look on life. I will miss her.

To the Loomis family. Our deepest sympathies to this wonderful lady. She sure did leave a legacy for all of us. We the members of the Milpitas Historical Society, treasure the book she wrote about our City - The Century of "little Cornfields"

My heartfelt sympathies to Nancy and the Loomis family. I know my Grandmother, Billie Swigert, treasured her friendship with Pat and I am so thankful for all her work and research with the Historical Society. She leaves a beautiful legacy to the community and her family.

I served with Pat on the Fair Board she was just wonderful person to work and play with. She will always remain in my heart for Her friendship.

Pat's secondary family at the South County Historical Society are deeply saddened by her passing. She was always working on a research project and was in the process of finishing what would be her last book. Her efforts had earned her the distinction of "Historian of the Year for 2010." We are proud of her accomplishments, appreciate her support and will greatly miss her at the research library named in her honor.

To families of my Loomis and Bennett classmates: I wish to express my sincere condolences to all of you. Pat was an amazing and loving woman. So many of us local kids have fond memories of her at the ranch.She will be missed.
