Patricia Elinor "Pat" Newcomb

Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Elinor Newcomb, nee Zaluki, passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on March 8, 2024, in Sequim, WA. She was born on August 21, 1926, in Swanzey, NH, to Beatrice and Michael D. Zaluki.

Patricia was a woman of remarkable talents and unwavering dedication. Throughout her life, she excelled in various skills, including rug-braiding, slipcovering, dress-making, pastry chef, pie-making, closet building, country painting artistry, and furniture refinishing. Her professional career as a nurse in the OR, maternity, rehabilitation, and pediatrician's fields earned her immense respect in the Monadnock area.

Beyond her professional achievements, Patricia's true joy came from serving her family.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Candi Arveson; son, Ross Newcomb; son-in-law, Dale Arveson; nephew, David Newcomb; nephew, Michael Zaluki; niece, Barbara Giguere; nephew Thomas Zaluki; niece, Kate Cross, and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James "Jim" Newcomb, and several family members, including her brother John "Jack" Zaluki, sister-in-law Lorraine Zaluki, sister Anne Zaluki, niece Amy Zaluki-Stone, brother Richard "Dick" Zaluki, sister-in-law Pat Zaluki, mother Beatrice Zaluki, and father Michael D. Zaluki.

Mrs. Patricia Newcomb's legacy of love, hard work, and dedication will be cherished and remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
