Patricia "Patsy" Symons Bell

Leesburg, FL - LEESBURG, FL: Myrtice Patricia (Patsy) Symons Bell, of Leesburg, Florida went home to be with the Lord on October 24, 2023. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Mt. Sinai Church Cemetery in Doerun, GA with Dr. David Benton officiating. All are welcome to attend. The family will receive friends after the service. Mrs. Bell was born in Brunswick, GA, the daughter of Wilfred Thomas Symons and Myrtice Garris Symons. She attended Lakeland, FL schools and graduated from Georgia Southern with a degree in Education. She loved teaching and taught in many school systems in GA and FL until her retirement in December 2014. She is survived by her children: Kristi Bell-Boliek and her children, Zachary and Kassidy (Drew Gelb); Brent Bell and his children Laynee, Kielee, and Maicee; and Clay Bell (Jennifer Pate Bell) and their children Logan, Cole, and Dylan. Special family friends Regina Rossano and Kim Ford. Also, her sister Kathy Symons of Eustis, FL. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Clifford "Sonny" Bell. She was a true Southern lady and was loved by each person she came into contact with. Her presence in this world will be truly missed. But she is resting in the loving arms of our God and her loved ones in heaven.
