Obituary

Patricia Ann Serena, 54, passed away May 17, 1999. Pat was born May 7, 1945, in Grand Rapids, MI.

She is survived by parents, Don and Jane Scott of Pine Island; son, Scott and wife Chrissy Danielson (granddaughter, Tiffany) of Cape Coral; son Eric Danielson of Fort Myers; son, Shane Serena of Cape Coral and the University of Central Florida. Sisters: Marge Adkins of Pine Island and Jodie Dahlberg of Cape Coral as well as three nephews; one niece; seven great-nephews; three great-nieces; aunts; uncles and cousins. She will also be dearly missed by a host of extended family and friends.

Pat graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1963 in Chamberlain, SD and attended Omaha Business College, Omaha, NE. She worked in this area for Nations Bank 13 years and the law firm of Michael D'Agostino for the past 5 years. From 1993 to 1997 she was active in the Mariner High School Band Boosters and was an organizer and chaperone when the band went to London in 1996. She was the current Senior Regent of Pine Island Chapter #1843 Women of the Moose and the recipient of the chapter's International Co-Worker of the Year Award 1998-1999. She was also active and held offices in many other community organizations including Little League and Pine Island Fireman's Auxiliary.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, May 26, 1999, 6:00 p.m. at the Pine Island United Methodist Church, 5701 Pine Island Rd., Pine Island Center, with Rev. Brian James, officiating. A reception will be held at Pine Island Moose Lodge following the service.

Pat's fondest dream was to see her son Shane graduate from college; in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pat Serena Scholarship Fund at South Trust Bank, 10171 Stringfellow Rd., St. James City, FL 33956.
