PATRICIA LYNN STORMO

Patricia Lynn Stormo, 83, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025 in Marshall, MN. She was born on April 2, 1941 in Inglewood, CA to John Marshall Caulfield and Helen Clarice Koon Caulfield.

Pat lived an active and vibrant life. She grew up in several areas of the greater Los Angeles area and once played an extra in an episode of the western series, Rawhide.

In 1960, Pat married Richard L Skinner and four children followed over the next seven years. During this time, they moved to Ripon, CA. Shortly after the birth of her fourth child, Pat joined the workforce. Life goals changed and a divorce followed in 1974.

Always one to give 100% and goal driven, Pat went from factory work to becoming a USDA Inspector and later moving into real estate, which allowed her creative spirit to bloom.

Pat met Donald C Stormo, while both were USDA Inspectors and they were married in 1978. Many fishing, hunting and camping trips ensued, while also tending their almond orchard. After retiring in 1994, they moved to Hendricks, MN where she had lived ever since.

Some of her favorite things were decorating and hosting family gatherings and holidays. Pat found great joy in creating elaborate cards for the special people in her life. She always looked forward to family game days playing cards, board games or video games with anyone and everyone. Pat also loved to travel and was always up for an adventure. She was lucky to have visited nearly every state and several countries as well.

After Don's passing in 1998, Pat became thoroughly addicted to genealogy and compiled extensive files on her and Don's family trees as well as helping others with theirs.

Surviving her are her children, Rick (Gina) Skinner of Cambria, CA, Traci (Harold) Rowlett of Hendricks, MN, Lori (Rick) Azevedo of Marshall, MN and Dale Skinner of Ivanhoe, MN, grandsons Blake Azevedo, Colby (Taylor) Azevedo, Dane Azevedo and Hunter Skinner, and great granddaughter Lainey Azevedo.

A Celebration of Life will take place at her home at 312 S Lake St, Hendricks on May 10th from 12-5pm. A private interment will take place at New Hope Cemetery in Hayti, SD.
