Dear Bill, Matt, and our dear Kate,

I heard today of your mother’s passing. Sarah and I were deeply moved. We remember so fondly her kindness, her exceptional generosity, and her welcoming spirit. She was an amazing neighbor, always ready to help and
befriend.

Strangely enough, through Sarah we met an architect who has a house on Cliff Island. From there came more fond memories. My father spoke for years about the sunset from that house, the ferry ride... he loved every minute of his time on the island. Again, this wouldn’t have been possible without your generosity.

Sadly, I lost both parents to Covid-related illness last Spring, So many good memories to cherish and now I will add those of Pat. Our love to you all.

Wonderful memories of the Girlies and their Moms; Pat and I were two of those Moms. We all will be missing her and will be thinking of you, her family and many friends tomorrow. I look forward to seeing you again come summer.

Pat was an exceptionally talented teacher and a delightful person. She radiated goodness and talking with her was enjoyable. I worked with her at Franklin and Neil Armstrong Schools in the Bethel Park School District. She was a wonderful, caring woman.
