Such a wonderful and giving mother-in-law and person you were. Blessed was i with all the fantastic comfort food and "soups" you made over 14 years for me.
It is your time now to soar like an Eagle with the Angels above and dance as the sun never sets..
God Bless you Pat and thank you for gracing my life..

Aunt Pat, I will miss your genuine love & happiness to see your "wayward son" upon one of my surprise visits to Atlanta to see you & the girls, but I am comforted by the fact that I will continue to see your kindness & love when I continue to see your girls. For myself & on behalf of the Rose family. We are truly deminished.

When I learned of Patty's passing, I wept silently...I am a husband of a relative who also loved Pat. Time and distance caused separation... [email protected]

She Walks in Beauty
She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.

And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!

--Lord Byron.

What a lovely and moving Memorial to Pat today. I was so impressed with all the speakers. Her grand daughter and grand son gave the best memories of her that I have ever heard at a Memorial. You kids were magnificent and Pat would have been so very proud of you. How wonderful it was to exchange memories of Pat with all her old friends from STAR. She was a very special and loved member of our group.

I had the honor and privilege of introducing Pat and her young family to their first home in Georgia over 30 years ago and I could tell instantly she was different. What a great lady, and a smile to match what was inside. She was one of a kind and it is sad that she had to suffer so at the end. God must have needed to add to his Angel Corps and he got a good one. God bless you all. He will make the hurt go away eventually.

I feel blessed to have known Pat, she always had a wonderful joy and youthful spirit about her. Her smiles and kind heart will be remembered. My heart felt condolences to her family and all those who will miss her dearly too.

I met Pat on our honeymoons almost 52 yeards ago. She was a beautiful young girl. She taught us how to play crazy gin, which we still play today. Pat and I had something special other than husbands and kids. We had the gift of laughter. Why, she would always" Maggi, we will to be 100 because laughter is good for the heart. We were the "Bag Ladies" doing estate sales for clients and she would always say" You are the bag and I am the Lady. We enjoyed it all and I miss her every minute. I hope my Novena for her granted her her wish. Love and Kisses, Maggi Hornkohl

My sincere condolences. Patty was the best, and what a valiant warrior. She lit up a room just by walking through the door and flashing her beautiful smile. We held hands, supported each other, and cried together through troubled times. Since my move to So. FL, we communicated regularly by e-mail. Now, at peace and no longer in pain, I love you dear friend. You will be so missed.

Our friendship of over 30 years has seen so many good times,
and we laughed and laughed so much that people thought we were mad. I love you dearly and will miss my friend greatly,

Pat was a blessing to me and my life. She brought joy and laughter wherever she was. I have missed her so much since I moved from Marietta, but she has always been in my heart. She was the kind of person that when you have thoughts of her, you smile. My heart is broken from her passing and the pain she endured, but I know she's at peace now. My deepest sympathy to her family as you go through this difficult time. May God Bless and comfort you. Phyllis Rodkin; Ellijay, GA

We have wonderful memories of our time together in Michigan. Although we didn't see each other we have stayed in touch over the years. Pat had the most wonderful sense of humor and a great outlook on life. She was able to handle whatever life gave her with ease. She will be missed by her family and friends. Our prayers are with them.

With deepest sympathy to the Tanski family during your time of grief...Psalm 46:1...God is for us a refuge and strength, A help that is readily to be found during difficult times...May God provide you with peace and comfort to endure the days ahead.

Pat had an amazing gift of humor and had you laughing about your problems and even laughed throughout her long illness. If you called her to cheer her up, she told jokes and didn't quit until you were laughing with her. She has most likely had God laughing by now. Such a great lady who will be missed by so many.

The best party ever was Pat in was My Greek Wedding. An actual wedding ceremony on her front lawn, mock minister, gowns, etc.... We spoke a few weeks ago and laughed about it. She had a personality no one could match, and a laugh that warmed your heart. She will be deeply missed by me and many many others April & Bill Conaway.

I will remember all the fun times we had at STAR with Pat. Pat was always upbeat, positive and a truly wonderful person. She will be deeply missed. What may seem to us a sunset is really a sunrise in another land. Prayers and hugs to her family in this difficult time. Know that she was loved by all who knew her.
