I still can´t believe you are no longer here there are so many times I want to pick up the phone and call you. So what I do is have a conversation with myself and figure out what you would be saying. One day we will be driving the Heavens above crazy but hopefully not any time soon. Love you Patty Annie

Hey Patty Annie not a day goes by that I don't think of you. Every time I pass a fruit stand or orchard I chuckle as to our two week canning adventure. Neither one of us had ever canned we were like Lucy and Ethel. We were so opposite of each other but somehow we remained friends or more like sisters for over 42 years. We laughed, cried, grieved, and celebrated together. You were truly an Angel hear on earth. I love and miss you

Pat and I were friends in our OLA days. I enjoyed stopping off at her place before walking up the hill on my way home from school. Her door was always open and her mom was always welcoming. In Denmark we would refer to it as a "hyggelig sted". We had sleep overs and tried our luck at spinning the bottle. Unfortunately our paths diverged and contact slipped in the years that followed. I first spoke with her again after our last class reunion that I attended. She was as delightful as ever and full of life. She told me that she had rented the old family home at one point and had a family gathering there. That most have brought back memories. I send a prayer and condolences to her family for their loss.
Sincerly,
Kathleen (Quinn) de Iermiin

Patty congratulations you have a wonderful family. There's a lot of water under the bridge since our graduation from OLA in 1960. Your kids may not realize the tumultuous times of 1969 when you married your love. Your relationship prospered and grew, well done. In addition you maintained your faith, a remarkable achievement given the changes in society and the church. I really enjoyed saying hi at our last reunion. When next I see you I look forward to your reaction to Vard picking you up at the gates of Heaven and giving you a tour on his new Harley. RIP, please pray for your OLA friends.

Pat was not only my friend but I considered her my sister. We have been friends for over 44 years. We've shared sorrow and joy together, watched our children grow into adulthood and became grandparents. Pat was the quiet one and reserved while I was the loud one and wild. For whatever reason we complimented each other. For some we were know as Lucy and Ethel. As we got older we still could sit around the table and still get a fit of laughter. Pat was an Angel on earth and now has graced Heaven with her presence. She has taken the most radiant pair of wings. You will always be my friend, sister forever. Till we meet again I love you
