Chad and Shane,
We were out of town and I did not learn of your mother's passing until this past weekend.
I met your mother when she taught Spanish at Garden High School. Her classroom was next to the library and we shared many laughs at the end of the school day. I was sorry to see her leave Garden.
I want you to know that I am very sorry for your loss.

Patricia and I went through Grundy High School together and I hadn't seen her in many, many years until several in our class met for lunch when I was back in Virginia several years ago. It was soon after Bobby Joe had died whom I also remembered well. My thoughts and prayers go out to all her family at this very sad time. She will be missed...
