Patricia Lynn Davis-Young (Lynn) passed away unexpectedly at age 62 on March 13th, 2023 in Atlanta, GA. Lynn was born June 23rd 1960 in Johnstown, PA to Dr James K Davis and Delores M Davis. She graduated from Richland High School in Johnstown, PA with honors and excelled at varsity swimming. She attended the University of Miami 1978-1982 where she completed a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She swam for Miami, a Division 1 program, where her relay team was All American. She worked as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for over 30 years and most recently formed an LLC for elder care.

Lynn married in 1990 to Dr Steven Alan Young. They have 2 children: Savannah M Young, born 1992 & Nathan O Young, born 1996. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, their children, brothers James K Davis & Logan A Davis and his wife Connie, nieces Jordan (Davis) Karr & Erin Davis.

Lynn maintained a passion for cooking, swimming, and travel throughout her life. She spent several years in Japan with her husband, where she modeled and took cooking classes. She traveled throughout Europe, Asia and most recently the Caribbean, where she and her daughter swam an open water 5 mile race.

A loving, giving and compassionate wife, mother, sister, extended family member and friend to everyone she met; her smile, genuine heart and spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service/celebration of life will be announced by the family at a future date.

Lynn "is" the person that all should aspire to be. I reference the present, because she lives through all that she touched; most special her children, family and those that she cared for during her nursing career. I most admired her special and sincere presence.
