Patrick Acker Obituary
Patrick lived a life full of adventure, family, friendship, and acts of kindness; he lived life to the fullest. His interests included playing baseball and card games, shooting pool, riding motorcycles, traveling, and music - he was even in a band! He was involved in the community; the Veterans were a big part of his life's purpose, as were his family and friends.
He touched our hearts with his songs, smiles, and goofy ways.
To honor Pat's life there will be military honors at American Legion Post #1916 (200 Veterans Dr. Reedsburg, WI) on Saturday May 6, 2023 from 11am to 1pm.
There will also be a celebration of life at Lake Vista Park Pavilion (4159 E. Lake Vista Parkway, Oak Creek, WI) on Monday May 8, 2023 from 2pm to 6pm. Eulogy will begin at 4pm. Please bring a story or two to share.

Pat and I were cousins in our early years we hung out together. One of my fondest memories was digging worms to sell to fishermen and skating outside at the pavilion in bay view or hanging out at the family home in bay view just being boys

Pat was someone that you could always count on - whether it was for good advice, positive reinforcement when you weren't sure on something, or to get a smile out of you. He made a big impact on the school facilities community here in Wisconsin, and on many of us who had the opportunity to work alongside him. Rest in Peace Patrick.

A last message... Dear Patrick,
Thank you for everything. We had a good friendship. I'm so happy I could get you into the concerts you wanted to see. You were always welcome to be at are birthdays. I will set aside a piece of cake for you. I will see you when I get there, and we can do concerts together. My family will always love you!

I recall being at the family home in the late 60´s. Pat put on a song and said "This is from Dad to Mom" . The song was "Ain´t no sunshine when she´s gone". That was something Pat would do. Both funny and touching. I´ve never forgotten that moment.
