In memory of

I first met "project Pat" when I transferred from New Orleans to Ponchatoula high. We first met in agriculture class where we shared many memories and laughs with the class pet "Lego" the kangaroo. He was so warm and accepting of me, which i struggled with being the new girl. We connected on our home city and similar style/likes. We then realized we had many many classes together. We had a lot of mutual friends and kept in touch for a long time after high school. My greatest memory is when he told me his birthday was on St. Patrick´s day (which is why his name was Patrick) I brought him a big green balloon to school on that day. We laughed forever after I found out it was a joke. He still walked around the school that day with his balloon. We his a bright light that will be greatly missed. I´m so sorry to his family and friends.

I've only known you for a little while, but every time we spoke, it was awesome, so full of energy. But, the one thing I'll always remember was that you always had a smile on your face and was always willing to help out in anyway you could.
Lol, and once you started talking, it was hard to make you stop..
May you Rest in Peace for all Eternity.

Patrick will be deeply missed by all at the museum where he was such a positive bright light! He always had a smile and kind words. Patrick always offered a helping hand. Patrick made the work environment a more pleasant place to be. He made a positive difference with all he met. His family and loved ones have my deepest condolences. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

I remember the first time I met Patrick. He was filling out paperwork to start his job at the Louisiana State Museum and had his baby girl with him. His love for her and excitement about his new job was striking. Later, he became my neighbor and we´d see each other while walking our dogs. His love for his fur "baby" was unmistakable as well. I´ll miss his energy and his smile.

Patrick was such a kind soul and happy person to work with. His positivity was so contagious! The museum is extremely sad to lose such a great coworker and friend. My heart goes to his family at this terrible time.

We love you, Patrick. I bet you´re on the most beautiful cliffs in Hawaii now (almost as nice as Italy, your friend says). "My man!"

I will always remember how kind Patrick was. As a kid he always had a smile and would look on the bright side of whatever was going on. He loved big and really cared for the people he loved. My heart is saddened by such a senseless end to a life so young. He was a wonderful human and the world is missing one amazing smile.
