Patrick was a dedicated member of the Bimetallic Question Sherlock Holmes Society of Montreal who contributed so much to it.
I still remember how good he made me feel when I went to his Sherlock Holmes pastiche play, Tides of the Wight, performed by our members one evening. I was quite a new member and he made me feel so welcome when he gave me a big hug.
Thank you, Patrick!

It has been a pleasure and privilege knowing Patrick since the days when The Bimetallic Question met at the Canadian military building at the top of Atwater Street.

Compassionate, kind, probing, keenly interested in so many things, including people. In all a rare gift, and now, a sad loss. We will miss you, Patrick.

My condolences to the family. The Bimetallic Question will not be the same without dear Patrick. I cherish the memory of his warm and welcoming manner, especially with guests and new members. Rest Well now Patrick, you have earned it.

The last time I saw Patrick, only a few weeks before he died, he sold me a book he had written on airplane manufacturing in my Norvick Village neighborhood in St-Laurent. He had worked at that Canadair plant and used to live in my neighborhood. Airplanes, Sherlock Holmes, stamps and my own neighborhood shall always remind me of Patrick and his unflagging love of life and, seemingly, all it has to offer. It was a privilege to have known him and I will miss him.

A loss to the Society, the Clan, and all who knew him. We will always remember Patrick fondly, especially on the first Thursday of every second month.

Very sorry to hear of Patrick's passing. He was so kind to my mother and myself when Dad died. Patrick set up a really nice display of Dad's military service and model planes at the aviation museum. Thank you Patrick, and rest in peace.

Hello Mr. Campbell and Family, I am saddened to hear of your passing. I am pleased to have met you at the Museum in 2013 -a Mystery Gentleman indeed, striking the same pose 68 years later! Thank you for our leisurely and very interesting chat. Remember, our Lord is counting on you now to keep all the birds up there in the air!
