Cape Coral, FL (formerly East Brunswick, NJ)

Patrick M. Catena, 81, passed away peacefully at home on July 20, 2025.

He is survived by his children, Matthew Catena and Craig Catena (Nicole); his brother, Richard Catena; and his beloved grandchildren, Dominic and Preston Catena. He was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Arlene M. Catena; his parents, Pasquale and Julia Ciorciari-Catena; and brothers, Anthony (Tony) and Donald Catena.

Mr. Catena spent most of his life in East Brunswick, NJ, and retired to Cape Coral, FL, where he resided for the past 22 years. He retired from Bristol Myers Squibb after a 35-year career. From 1961 to 1964, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Newport News as a Storekeeper Third Class Petty Officer (SK3).

Patrick was an avid golfer and enjoyed monthly card games with friends. Known for his dry sense of humor, he took great joy in lighthearted teasing and making others laugh.
