Patrick De Mesa

Patrick De Mesa BRISTOL, Va. Mr. Patrick De Mesa, 57, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Mr. De Mesa was born on April 28, 1953, in Honolulu. He had been a resident of Bristol for the past four years having moved to the area from Shelbyville, Tenn. He was a great entrepreneur, husband, father, son, brother and friend. His family was the center of his life and he will be deeply missed by them and his many countless friends. Patrick was an avid pilot, gardener, game player, and a sports enthusiast. He loved the Lord and was a member of Saint Peter Presbyterian Church. His father, John De Mesa; precedes him in death. He is survived by his wife, Deborah De Mesa, and their son, John William De Mesa, both of the home; his mother, Iwalani Carino, of Anchorage, Alaska; three brothers, Keoni May, of New York, Aka De Mesa and wife, Cheryl, and their daughter Nicole, of Kona, Hawaii, and Steven De Mesa and daughter, Savannah, of Honolulu. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Central Presbyterian Church, 301 Euclid Ave., in Bristol, Va., with the Rev. Laurence Windham officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the church. Committal will be private.
